How to use a SONY Digital Handy-cam?
I just found a digital SONY handy-Cam (one of the older versions. It says on the camera Carl Zeiss Vario Sonnar 0 Lux. Mpeg Movie)
in my cabinet when I was cleaning yesterday, but I lost the instructions. I need help on how to use it, and how to connect it to the computer to put my videos onto the internet.
I tried researching about it, but it only showed where to buy new ones.
Please If you could help, it would be a lot of help.
also it is a DCR-TRV17-NTSC

Download the user manuals there.
You’ll have to buy replacement software from Sony. They don’t make it available for download — only patches for the software.
You’ll have to buy a new cable depending on the model of camera.
The model number probably starts with “DCR” and isn’t anything that you’ve provided in the question.
