so ive been debating on wich camera i should buy.
personnally, i would prefer this one :

They’re both excellent cameras and have similar features, Large APS-C Sensor, 35mm equivalent lens, retro-rangefinder looks, and manual controls.
I’d really love to use a Leica and the Leica X1 is much more affordable than an Leica M9 and it’s more compact which also appeals to me. I also think the Leica lens is a bit sharper.

However, the Fuji X100 also has the newly innovated hybrid viewfinder. Plus it costs less. In fact, the X100 looks more like a Leica M than the X1 does, it actually most resembles the M3. Fuji has done an excellent job carving into the Leica niche with the X100. There are many Leica enthusiasts that are now embracing the X100.

Ultimately, the quality of both cameras is comparable, with the Leica X1 perhaps the lens is a little sharper, the Fujjifilm X100 has the Hybrid Viewfinder and costs less. Personally, my vote goes for the Fuji X100.
