What’s wrong with my digital camera?
I turned on my cam to see the camera making everything look like vertical stripes on the screen and distorted when I actually take a picture. Every other function works fine (like the menu screens etc.) so it’s not a screen problem so it might be a lens problem or something. Can somebody please tell me what’s wrong?
My camera is a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T3 if it helps.

That’s not normal. How old is your camera? Did it get dropped or anything? If it’s still under warranty and wasn’t abused, you should be able to get it repaired free. Contact Sony for details.
It wouldn’t be a lens problem. More likely the sensor.
