Canon T3 Digital SLR Camera Review
Canon is upgrading its entry-level SLR offering with the new Canon Rebel T3. The Canon T3 is much more than just a compact SLR, though; it’s a good quality camera with a rich feature set that just happens to carry an entry-level price.
Canon T3 Review
The recent Canon T3 is to some extent bigger than the previous EOS Rebel XS, measuring about 4mm wider, 2mm taller, and a noticeable 16mm thicker. Changes in styling from the earlier XS model are subtle, but the Canon T3′s overall look is sleeker and more rounded. The Canon T3 definitely doesn’t have the solidity of an EOS 60D or 7D, but we’re happy to report that it doesn’t feel hollow or cheap, either.
Canon Rebel T3 use 12.2 Megapixel image sensor APS-C CMOS and DIGIC 4 image processor. Presents 720p resolution at 30fps film recording, ISO 100-6400, dual-layer 63-zone metering system and 3fps continuous shooting until about 3 or about 2 RAW JPEG, LiveView function, f/5.6 center point cross-type and 9-point AF system with high precision.
Canon T3 picture quality is normally very good, while the limits of the kit lens do throw things skewed. The 18-55mm does not create the sharpest images, plus there’s notable colour fringing in a number of capturing setting. Take its ISO 100-6400 range and, frankly, it’s really pretty outstanding and low-noise throughout. It may slip a little above ISO 800-1600, but not to a huge level of degradation and colour is still well maintained. Exposure, thanks to the latest iFCL metering system, is also generally very accurate with only the occasional overexposure in highlight areas.
At a bargain price, the Canon Rebel T3 is a very solid entry-level digital SLR that is sure to thrill a broad range of users. the new Canon T3 will be a great choice for anyone on a budget
