Can you recommend a good digital camera with lens that’s not too complicated?
At the moment I have a standard digital camera and would like to go the next level. I would be grateful ideas and cost.
All DSLRs have full auto to full manual control, so it’s as easy or as involved as you want it to be.
The two main systems are Canon and Nikon, though Olympus, Pentax and Sony all make some excellent DSLRs too, often at keener prices than their Canon or Nikon equivalents.
The great thing with modern DSLRs is that you can gradually take control as you learn until you get to the stage where you are confidently using manual settings and over-rides.
If you want to go to the next level then there is no other way to go than via an SLR. You can pick up a decent starter model from around £250 with basic but decent lens.
Go on, be bold.
