Whats the best SLR Digital Camera I can got for around $500?
I am getting started in the Photography Business. Right now I have a $150 Polaroid….I definitely need to upgrade. Whats the best camera for around 500?
I’d stick with the Nikon D40, as the Rebel XT (300D) has long since been discontinued and you won’t find a new one. If you are going to buy used, you can move up the line quite a bit ny now.
You can get the basic D40 kit with lens and card for under $500. It’s enough to get you started learning how to use a digital SLR and you will get decent images, but you will need a whole lot more equipment to go pro, so start saving your pennies.
