it looks neat but i’m not sure if 300 bucks is worth it or if there’s a better camera out there for less

Samsung makes OK cameras in the under $100 range. This one is in that range but the little screen is just a gimmick to charge much much more.
There are many cameras with a flip screen/articulated screen if you need to see yourself.
