How to print photographs that I took with my phone/digital camera?
I have a gazillion photos that I’ve taken over the years, of course I posted them on Facebook, but now I want to print them, like real photos. How should I do that? Like, buy Photo Paper? But then what..? Thanks for any help!
It sounds like you are inexperienced at this, so I will cover some basics. A PRINTED photo requires MUCH higher resolution and quality than what is needed on a computer screen, or site such as Facebook. A photo that looks fine on a website will often print horribly due to FAR too small a resolution and dimensions. So if you intend to try to print photos that are only on sites such as that, you will not likely get good results. You need to only print from the original files from the digital camera.
Printing large quantities of photos at home is not cost effective. The cost of ink and paper will bankrupt you! It is much better to outsource the printing. There are tons of online printing sites where you can upload your digital files and have them printed. You can also simply take your camera memory card, or CD, or thumb drive of digital photos to places such as Wal Mart or Target or Walgreens and print them off yourself at the self service kiosk or have them printed on site if they are equipped to do so.
So if all you have are photos on Facebook and such places, you would have to right click on them and save them to a folder on your computer, then either upload them to a printing site, or put them on CD and take them to be printed. Again though, you will very likely get very poor results by doing that.
You need to learn to start archiving photos that are important to you on CD at their original, full resolution size from your camera. You cannot upload them to Facebook with the intention of printing them from the site.
