In the market for a digital camera to enhance my aviation photography hobby?
I am currently on the lookout for a new digital camera. I am a novice aviation photographer and am ready to upgrade. I am using a simple point and shoot right now but am looking into a SLR or similar. I have looked at many different cameras, but am leaning toward the olympus SP-550 camera. Has anyone used this camera or would recommend a different one. My price range is around $300-350. Thanks…
With a combination of such a wide focal range (28-504mm) coupled with Image Stabilization (especially critical at max zoom)and a wide ISO range that should be an ideal camera for aviation photography.
Also I’m assuming that the majority of your pictures will be in decent daytime light so I doubt you’d have any kind of possible issues.
