What is a good top of the line everyday digital camera?
I have a Nikon D70, which, don’t get me wrong, is a really great camera, but I really dislike lugging this thing around. So, what camera would you guys recommend me that is a lightweight and would be pretty par with what I already have? I’ve been eying the D40 lately. It’s a great camera and is lighter than my D70, which I really, really like, but my only problem is that I read somewhere that my lenses for my D70 wouldn’t fit into a D40. And what are your thoughts on the Coolpix P100? http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Product/Digital-Camera/26212/COOLPIX-P100.html I’m just looking for an everyday camera and still have some of the great features my D70 has. My Coolpix L10 just isn’t doing it for me anymore.
Once you get use to the quality of DSLR image, the picture produce by compact camera seem to be very poor.
I would say that you should follow your heart and go for it.
