Nikon S8000 – Slimmest And High Performance Compact Camera
Nikon’s super slim, clearly brilliant Coolpix S8000 mixes 14.2 MP with a 10x optical Zoom. The Nikon S8000 features an extraordinary, bright 3 inch LCD with 921,000 dots resolution for composing and sharing photographs and 720p HD video recording with stereo sound. At just 27.3mm thick, Nikon claims the S8000 to be the slimmest 10x optical zoom point-and-shoot on the market today.
The wide angle 10x optical zoom NIKKOR lens with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lens gives crisp results whether you’re taking still images or shooting high-definition (HD) movie clips. The Nikon S8000 also gives you the freedom to take either beautiful, detailed close-ups of your subject in Macro Mode – getting as close as 1 cm (0.4 in.) – or impressive wide-angle and distant telephoto shots, perfect if you need to get the whole football team in.
The Coolpix S8000, with Nikon’s EXPEED image processing idea and 4-way VR Image Stabilization System, takes incredible pictures, incredibly easy. The S8000 has Nikon’s New Smart Portrait System which automatically detects your subjects face, takes a picture when they smile, can soften the skin tone, and warns you if they blinked.
The Nikon Coolpix S8000 is equipped with the Creative Slider, a new way to adjust images without the use of a PC. Brightness, saturation and colour tone can be easily adjusted using the Rotary Multi Selector, to ensure the picture shows exactly what you want it to show.
