are there any British or European makes of camera?
I’m always wary when my choice as a consumer is restricted. I’m looking for a compact digital camera, but they all seem to be from Japan. In the interests of not fuelling this hegemony, does anyone know of any European or British camera manufacturers? Ideally, I would buy a Leica, but they’re rather out of my price range for now, so any other suggestions?
