What is the difference between Digital Camera and Handy-cam?
What is the difference between Digital Camera and Handy-cam? Specify difference in respect of picture & Video quality. I want it for home use. I am planning to buy Sony Digital camera my bidget is Rs.6 to 8000. How much pixel should i buy (i am planning to buy 12 megapixel). Is video quality of Digital camera is good as compared to handy-cam?
A digital camera is meant to take still shots (pictures) while the Handycam, a video camera, takes err… video. Although they have the same basic parts, a digital camera can be made to do video but don’t expect too much from that being only a feature. The same is true with digital video cameras that take still shots. It’s possible but forgettable. IF you want to take fabulous pictures, get a great digital camera. If you want to shoot clear and crisp video, get a highly capable digital video camera. IF you want to do both, get both cameras. If you get only one, the other format would be compromised.
