How do you transfer pictures onto a flashdrive?!?
Okay..I have a Memorex USB 2.0 32 MB flashdrive and i wanted to save my pictures onto it..the pictures I wanted to save on it are some I Have on my HP Photosmart R742 Digital Camera..so I wanted to know the steps of how to first pass them to the comp. and then from there onto the flashdrive..Please explain carefully cuz i wudnt wanna do something wrong and loose my pics!Thanks to all answers!=)10 points for the best answer!=)
If your flashdrive only has 32MB, you won’t be able to save many pix to it, but some.
Transferring pix:
1) Remove memory card and plug it into your computer; if no slot, buy a card reader and use it.
Alternative: plug your camera into your computer with your USB cable.
2) The computer should pop up a window and guide you to saving the pix to the computer.
Alternative: Click Start, click Computer, double click on the Removable Disk that has your camera label on it, keep double clicking until you find your pix; select them and copy them to your favorite picture folder.
3) Plug your flash drive into your computer.
4) Select the pix on the computer that you want saved.
5) Copy to your flash drive.
