How can you use a Digital Camera as a Webcam?
I want to use my Fujifilm Digital Camera as a Webcam, I heard it was possible but I want to know how to do it properly. I don’t want to buy a Webcam because I want to use what I have.(:
if your camera has a USB port of some kind I think its just a matter of getting the proper cable that will connect the USB port on the Camera to the USB port on the computer (just like you would if you were transferring pictures to your Computer
once the camera is connected the computer should recognize it as new hardware… also if your camera came with a software CD you will need that to add the drivers to the computer (I have a Camera that had a CD… but did not need to use it as the Computer recognized the camera)
if all works properly you just open the Icon for the camera and it should have the option of activating as your web cam… then set the cam in the proper spot… and you’ll be seconds away from watching strangers abuse their privates on chatroulette… lol
