wich one is better: one good high-end camera or several cheap camera to start a small movie production?
I want to start a small but serious movie production with a very limited budget. Is it better to buy a good digital movie camera or several cheap camera such as mini DV or maybe you advise me to just rent whenever I need to start the production . Whatever the solution you propose, I will highly appereciate that.
You would need several cameras to shoot a scene. One camera will not give you all the angles you need for production. I would buy 2 decent cameras and then rent as needed. As you acquire money, invest in a good highend camera, and keep adding them until your decent starter cameras are only back-up.
