Which digital camera should I buy: the casio exilim EX-Z 120 or 70?
The Z120 and the Z70 both are 7.2 MP cameras. The Z70 is being released for sale in Sept 2006 I believe. They seem similar. Is the newer one going to be any better? It costs a bit more ($220 vs. $250). Also, I want to buy a 1GB memory card. Will that be compatible with either? Which brand is best?
The newer one has a better (bigger and higher resolution) LCD. They use the same type of memory cards (SD/MMC) and both have a small amount of built in memory. The older one uses standard AA batteries but the newer one uses a proprietary rechargeable battery. I’ve had very good luck with the rechargeable batteries by the way. The newer one uses a faster version of USB to transfer images to a computer (definitely a benefit if you take hundreds of picture in one day/vacation). The newer one also has a widescreen movie mode. By the way, I’m very happy with my digital camera (Fujifilm FinePix F10) but it’s no longer available.
