is a canon eos 40d easy to break?
I broke about 3 cameras in my life that my parents gave me, about worth 120$ each or more but less than 200$ digital cameras. I had kodak and Olympias. Now that i messed up my 3rd camera that i bought last year because the lens are very blurry, my parents were going to buy a professional canon 40d, since i touched my sisters new camera about a week old it broke in my hand.. why?! because i have bad luck and it shut by it self but then it turned out normal. my paretns don’t trust me, and i really love photography and are they easy to break like going to the beach and sand going in it? i’m not talking about smashing on the floor.
Yes, If you drop it it will break. If you get sand in it or water it will be broken. Also if you take the lens off you can get sand, water, dirt etc. inside the camera it will be toast. Cameras are sensitive pieces of electronics. They can’t be abused.
Considering your track record you may want to look at the Olympus tough series cameras. They are virtually indestructible. They are crush proof, water proof to 30ft. and shock resistant up to 6ft.
