What software do I need to burn video from my digital video camera onto a DVD?
Something EASY, please!
Edited to add: I HAVE a computer with a DVD burner. However, I don’t seem to have software that will allow me to put the video onto a DVD that I can actually put into the DVD player and watch. Most will only replay on the computer.
What you need is DVD authoring software. Pinnacle, Roxio, Ulead, all make very good software at affordable prices. Chances are since your computer came with a DVD burner, you have DVD burning software already. Nero and Roxio generally come with most DVD burners. My computer also came with something from Sonic called MY DVD.
If you want to edit your video, you will need editing software. Pinnacle Studio is a simple program that has DVD authoring built in. Studio retails for about $100, but you can find it for less. Sony, Ulead, Roxio and Adobe also have programs for around $100.
Don’t panic, there are simple solutions out there. Hopefully something I have suggested here will help.
