Great Digital Video Camera That Goes Well With Mac?
I’m a college student and highly considering spoiling myself for a macbook. I need a new laptop anyways. I love what the mac can do and am focused on the editing softwares that come with iLife. I love taking photos so i know that would be a bonus. I have a digital camera already.
The movie editing and dvd burning is what excites me.
I edited my homemade movies on my windows movie maker with a little dv camera but the quality was horrible.
Im asking you for recommendations on a great dv camera (under $1000) which fits well with a mac in all aspects, editing, filming, etc.
My goal is to be able to film great movies and edit them beautifully and burn them onto dvd’s.
Any information overall will help. Thanks!

I would suggest one of the HD video models, though you’ll have to increase your budget by a few hundred dollars.
