What is a good digital camera to get that isn’t extremely expensive?

I’ve been looking at these but was wondering if there were others- what are your opinions on the ones below

I would stick with a Canon. They have made cameras for many many years. And I wouldn’t be so concerned with a “cute pink” one. Getting a good quality is better than getting one that just looks good.

Look at the Canon Powershot A590IS. It is a little more bulky, but a much better camera with more features. Plus, it has a viewfinder which you would find very valuable when taking pics in bright sunlight. the LCD screen is useless in sunlight. It also has Image Stabilization which helps to take clearer shots. It costs anywhere from $123 to $148, depending where you get it.

Of course, this is just my opinion!
