How can I download my pics from digital camera?
I lost the software to my Canon power shot A540 digital camera, so how can I download my pics to my computer?

The quickest, fastest, easiest way is to get a SD Card to USB reader. When you’re ready to download the shots you simply turn off the camera, take out the card, insert it into the SD Card reader and it shows up under your computer like a hard drive.
Check your manual, if you hook up the camera straight to the computer via a USB cable (one should have shipped with the camera) you may get a similar result – extra hard drive. But be warned, USB to Camera is usually very slow.
Failing that, give Canon support a call. They’ll hook you up with something – they’ve got great customer service.
