Canon 60D: Meet New Canon Digital SLR Camera
Canon introduces Canon EOS 60D, its latest prosumer digital SLR. Coming into a world where digital SLRs can be seen gracing the neck of anyone who might have ever thought of being a photographer, it’s not stunning that Canon has rethought its entry-level prosumer digital SLR. The new design is somewhat smaller, and more specifically aimed at the advance amateur market. the redesign still mostly adds and betters features, like the 18-megapixel sensor, Full HD Movie mode, and Vari-angle LCD, but there’s at least one feature deletion that is a little daunting, which we’ll get to shortly.
It is notable that the Canon 60D has a more compact format. Additionally, the body’s material is not made of magnesium, but polycarbonate on an aluminum chassis. The weight has decreased by about 70 grams. You can almost speak of a entry-level DSLR camera, although the specifications are too serious for that. The Canon EOS 60D fills the gap between the EOS 7D and the 550D.

The Canon 60D now also supports video recordings, a feature that was not show in the 50D. Full HD video with 30, 25 and 24 fps are specs that you can gravely get something out of as an rising videographer. The vari-angle display that closes out sideways is very neat. It is ideal for shooting video, or photos, from a difficult angle. The display is of high quality and has a special coating which prevents visible fingerprints, and is water resistant. The display’s resolution is a high 1.040.000 dots, and delivers a beautiful representation. Moreover, the display’s image ratio is now 3:2, while the 50D had a 4:3 ratio.
Canon 60D Conclusion
The Canon EOS 60D represents a significant improvement over 2008′s 50D. Foremost among these changes is the addition of 1080/30p video recording, which is supplemented by an articulated LCD panel, HDMI output, and microphone input. Though the 60D shares the same sensor as the Rebel T2i, video aficionados will surely favor the 60D, with its rotating LCD panel, manual audio gain control, and 1/3-stop white balance increments.
