Where can I find a reasonably low-priced digital SLR camera with at least 10 megapixels?
I have been interested in buying a digital SLR camera with at least 10 megapixels and should have optical zoom and a lens, not camera body only.
Would anyone know where to find ones on the cheaper side or be willing to sell one to me with proof it’s in good condition?
Look at the Sony A200 and the Pentax K10D.
Go to digitalcameraguide.com and read the reviews of all the DSLR cameras in your price range. You’ll find that there are viable alternatives to Nikon and Canon – Sony, Fuji, Olympus, Sigma and Pentax – comparably priced but with more features and benefits.
No DSLR has “optical zoom”. They use zoom lenses such as the 18-70mm kit lens with the Sony A200 or the 18-55mm kit lens with the Canon XTi.
Regardless of which DSLR you choose, plan to spend some serious time to READ & STUDY the Owner’s Manual for the camera. If you don’t know every feature and setting and when, why and how to use them you’ll be as frustrated as you’d be trying to thread a needle blindfolded while wearing gloves.
Taking photography classes is strongly recommended.
