Digital Camera/MP3 player Advice?
I am getting ready to move to Europe for six months for school. My last digital camera was a polaroid and quit working a few months ago. I would like to see about purchasing (cant order online bc i have procrastinated and i leave in 3 days)- a digital camera and an mp3 player, or something to play my downloaded music on.
I have about 180.00 to spend for both.
I can deal with a very basic mp3 player, the cheaper the better, something that holds around 100 songs or so.
As far as specs with my digital camera, I would just like it to be reliable, hold as many pix as possible without having to buy a memory card, and would also like for it to be a good picture quality. zoom is a must..
Before I get you all shouting at me that I have to spend 400 for these things things..try and thing frugally,.
Any suggestions?? Maybe something I Can get at walmart,target,best buy, etC?
1 GB iPod ~$50 anywhere — MP3 players, ~$25 for 1 GB

I’d skip the iPod, if need be. There will be plenty of places to listen to music, and you might be bored once in a while, but paying to go back to Europe to get the photo you missed and always wanted — way too much money!
Don’t you have a friend who will give you their old MP3 player? You can also play them on your laptop, so you won’t be completely without your tunes.
