Can I bring a Digital SLR to the super bowl?
This is what the policy is
“no spectator cameras with lenses over six inches”

If you’ve been to a super bowl in the past with a Digital SLR, please let me know. Or just chime in your opinion.
Assume you have measured the lens fully extended and it is really 3.33 ” as the specs state.
Suggest you contact the stadium’s Security Office and ask them for their official interpretation. Whatever anyone here says, it’s still up to the Security’s screener as you go through the entry security procedure. You may also bring a small ruler with you in case you have to prove it is under 6″.
