How to Recover Digital Camera File Formats?
If you are a photographing freak, you must know about the digital camera. Digital camera is one of the greatest invention in the field of photography. It takes still photographs as well video digitally by recording the images through an electronic image sensor. You can see the images on digital camera just after shooting. Digital camera supports a number of memory card format to store your precious pictures safely. It is possible to edit, crop, or resize the pictures and save them via digital camera. However, in some situations, you may find that your precious and memorable images are missing from digital camera storage media. It can be due to various reasons, and cause serious file loss situations. At this point, you need to opt for file recovery solutions to recover deleted files.
The digital cameras internally store the pictures in RAW file format. The file is converted into general photo file format when you save it on memory card, your computer hard drive or any other storage media. RAW file format saves storage space and makes the camera processing very fast. Different digital camera use different RAW file formats, depending upon the manufacturer. The most common digital camera RAW file formats are as given below:
.arw, .srf, and .sr2 (Sony)
.crw and .cr2 (Canon)
.dsc, .drf, and .kdc (Kodak)

Digital camera saves your pictures on storage media in general image format, like JPEG, JPG, TIFF, PNG, and TIFF. Under some critical situations, these files may lose or get deleted from your hard drive, memory card, USB drive, and even digital camera due to any of the following situations and need of file recovery arises:
Storage media file system corruption.
Virus infection.
Improper ejection of memory card from computer or digital camera.
Storage media formatting.
Accidental deletion of critical pictures.
