Which resolution or mega pixels should my camera have to ge clear photos ?
Im getting a digital camera that is on sale for like $40.00 because i dont want to be saving up money for a $100.00 wich i’d be saving forever . This camera has 8.2 Mega Pixels and i want to know if thats enough to give me a clear , crisp image just like if u were looking at the picture in real life .
In new cameras, look for a viewfinder (LCD invisible in bright sun), optical image stabilization, and check battery prices. High mega pixel settings take longer to process and may not be needed unless required for very large pictures. Maximum print size for a 3 mega pixel setting is 8 x 10 inches. Camera can be set for several mega pixel “Quality Settings” and should show how many pictures are remaining at that setting. It is not really a picture quality setting unless you consider the quality to be the size of picture you can make. You actually lose quality when a high mega pixel setting is used for a smaller print. Digital cameras operate with computer type programs that are not always perfect.
