Can I fix my physically broken digital camera lense holder thing?!?
I have a Canon digital Camera with 3.2x zoom and I accidentally dropped it. The actual lense isnt broken, but the metal thing that physically goes in and out is bent to one side and it tries to retract it and such but it just wont budge. It also wont let me view any taken pictures or anything like that. After a few attemps at zooming, the screen (which is always black) says e18 on it. Any help?

If it’s just the little lens cover that is broken, you might could take it off so the lens would be uncovered all the time You’d probably have to grab it with some small pliers and force it out of the housing. If the lens barrel itself is broken and won’t retract, then you are out of luck.
More than likely it wouldn’t be cost effective to fix it. Unfortunately, when digicams (and other small electronics) break, you just have to toss and replace.
