How do I reset the resolution on my Digital camera?
I have a Olympus Camedia C-4000 digital camera.Cannot find this info in the manual.How do I reset the resolution to take smaller photos to send through e-mail?Please be specific.Thanks.
Well I checked out your camera and had a quick read of the details provided.
You have to go into the MENU……….and then select PICTURE and then choose the lowest resolution (640X480) Your manual should have it…just a matter of finding it. Look for MENU or RESOLUTION in the index perhaps.
I, myself, always record my pictures in the highest resolution available, and then if I want to make a smaller size I then make a copy and re-size it. That way you always have the original full size copy. (you obviously need software for that) I would also endorse Paintshop Pro as the previous answerer mentioned, however there are simpler programs available.
