How to take some of the brightness of my digital concepts camera flash?
The flash like just makes me look like a i have a skin problem and i see other people with the same camera and they have a normal face close up.Can someone tell me how to change it?
On-camera flashes are the devil’s work, in my opinion.
With a real flash, you can turn the head around to bounce it off walls or ceilings, or you can attach a diffuser.
However, with a tiny little P&S camera, you can’t do anything much. The better P&S’s let you adjust the flash power, but I assume you don’t have that option, either.
It would be by far the best if you could take photos without flash. If it is too dark to hold the camera steady, put it on a tripod or at least rest in on a flat surface and use the self timer (so you don’t move it when you press the shutter button).
If you HAVE to use the flash, back away from your subject and zoom in and/or try putting a little bit of tissue paper in front of the flash.
