Do any compact digital cameras take Compact Flash cards?
I’m looking for a compact digital camera which takes CF cards as I’ve got a pile of them for my digital SLRs – don’t really want to have to buy SD cards if possible
Not any more.
I have two older Nikon Coolpix cameras that use CF card’s but as P&S cameras got smaller, the SD cards became the memory cards of choice, except for Sony’s Memory Stick and Olympus’s xD cards.
While the CF cards are nearly bullet proof, the cost of 4 gb SDHC cards are pretty low (under $15 on sale), having a couple of them in your pocket will not ruin your budget
