How do I get pictures from my digital camera on to my computer?
I’m technologically disabled.
I’ve never uploaded pictures because my brother always does that..and he’s not here right now, so I have to upload them.
I have a Canon PowerShot A640, in case you need to know.
And I have Vista.
So far, I’ve connected my camera with my computer with the connecting wire thingy. what do I do from there to get the pictures on my camera on to my computer? because my camera icon thing isn’t showing up in “My Computer”…i don’t know what to do. Yes, my camera is properly installed because my brother has uploaded pictures onto it many times before.
and btw, i have no idea what a memory card is…
like i said, im technologically disabled.
can you tell me this stuff step by step please?

after you’ve connected your computer to the camera, turn the camera on and make sure you press PC if it prompts you. If that does not bring up a screen where you can decide to import your pictures, go to your start menu, select “computer” and manually look for the device…it should be on e or f drive. Double click the correct icon and look for your pics…but really the 1st method should work.
