I have Sony Cyber shot 7.2 mega pixel digital camera since 2 yrs now.It was never good at taking night pics?
Can anyone guide me on what settings should I have so that it takes normal pictures when the light is insufficient or at night?
I also plan to buy a new camera which one will be best choice? I just don’t want it to be bulky and I will not go for Sony again. Please advise from your knowledge & experience.
For night photography, you MUST have a tripod. Most cameras have a night mode where it combines a flash to light up what is close with a longer shutterspeed to catch the ambient light, as well. It will ONLY work if the camera doesn’t move at all.
As to buying a new camera…… the “bulky” ones take the best photos. The skinny ones are so busy being built skinny, there simply isn’t room for good optics or other useful stuff. I consider them emergency back-ups only.
YOU need to decide your priorities. If tiny is important to you, you have plenty of choices of those and they are all pretty much the same in terms of features and quality.
