Quality and Value using a Nikor lens
This camera is easy to use and it takes unbelieveable snap shots. The quality and size in the lens make all the difference on earth. I bought this camera for my aunt and it was so competent I bought one for my grandson who’s into taking pictures. my aunt loves it and my grandson really loves them. It is a little big to get a point and shoot camera but value the bother of any slightly larger camera compared to say a smaller Coolpix. my wife had a small Coolpix but since she purchased the L100 she has not touched the smaller camcorder. Also the L100 uses regular batteries that endure bums and bruises and they are cheap and easily obtainable. I was not within a hurry to buy the camera so I saw the ads for about 17 days and saved a bundle.

Very pleased
After some research I been for a while buying the Nikon Coolpix L100 10MP Digital Camera. all round I’m very pleased. The picture quality has been great. I take a lot of pictures of moving pets, and it can carry on. I was even capable to use the sports mode for taking pictures of hummingbirds. I’m not super camera savvy and this camera is easy to me to navigate. The menu and options are easy to use. I do have a few complaints. I think it’s nuts that you must take the lense covering off to even switch on the camera. Which means you need to take off the lense cap even if your not taking pictures and just desired to view them. I’ve also had a pinch of problems taking indoor images. After many trial pictures i think I’ve got it established, but the quality isn’t competitive with outdoors. For the most section the auto mode works with what i’m using that for, but every once in a while I’ll have to adjust the setting or brightness to obtain the picture to turn up. But over all I’m extremely proud of it, it’s a major raise from my last camera and is a very easy point and shoot camera. It makes me feel like i’m an increased photographer than I actually am!
Pretty good for any price
I am no images connoisseur so I do not know how helpful this review will be….But its good affordable. The screen size is large (something i got looking for), and the lens size is adequate some people will just take photographs in trips etc. I such as white balance feature, it really helps to capture images in proper color every one lighting conditions, so your pictures don’t end up looking orangish while you are taking photos indoors in the evening, for instance at celebrations and what not. expensive is powerful. I also of that ranking it takes AA electric batteries, so in case you be depleted of batteries you might always buy some battery power….though it takes 4 AA batteries….The ‘Easy Auto’ mode is excellent, and in most cases shipment have to worry about tinkering with all the settings….However, its better to find out about a few settings and utilize the camera in the ‘Auto’ manner instead. The preloaded settings to get portrait/scenary etc etc are also pretty good. I haven’t much tested out the graphic stabilization or the ‘best picture’ or even ‘sports’ modes either, but I think will have them pretty useful for having photographs of moving things. Overall I am very very pleased of this camera.
