data recovery program for digital cameras!!!?
i have a cannon powershot A710 IS digital camera! i have deleted very important pictures accidentally and i haven’t save it yet in my computer. i have already tried data recovery programs but they doesn’t support my camera, any one out there who knows a data recovery program for free?
please help me find my pictures..thank you in advance
If the image file is that important, you may want to buy a commercial recovery program (it actually works). Lexar makes such a program (it actually comes as one of the perks when you buy a certain level of the Lexar card — I got mine when I purchased a Lexar Platinum II card). You may find the $30 cost worthwhile
These programs are not “camera sensitive”. They recover files from memory cards using a card reader, so the camera is out of the recovery loop. The camera cannot be involved because having a battery failure during the process, almost guarantees the total loss of any corrupted (or erased) image files.
