Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5K or Canon PowerShot SX100 IS?
I’m deciding between the two cameras, and the prices are somewhat of a concern, though I am more than willing to pay for the better quality.

Thanks in advanced. The price of the Lumix is at 350, where the PowerShot is at 225.
I am mostly looking for general use, but also for journalism usage as well, for news and sports stories, so the zoom and quality, as well as quality for moving pictures, will be my concern. I would also prefer it to not fail at specific conditions (for instance night), so the flash might be an issue as well.
Generally Panasonic cameras are of a better quality than Canon ones, i was doing a comparision on cameras for school, and i asked sales personel at various electrical stores and many of them suggested that at the moment Panasonic is the leading brand with regards to the quality of the camera.
