Recover Deleted Photos From the Canon Rebel Memory Card
The Canon Digital Rebel series is the best that you can get if you want a light and compact SLR camera. It is very easy to work with, and you will have no problems understanding the functionalities of this camera. It also has a very fast start up time and has minimal shutter delay. Your photos will look fantastic, and you can be sure that the quality level of the photos are high. The only problem with this camera is that, after a few years of use, it will start to wear down, and you may start experiencing a slower system, with the busy signal constantly coming up. This can be the cause of your photos accidentally getting deleted from your Rebel..
If you’ve lost or deleted photos accidentally from your camera, stop using your camera immediately. You’ll be able to retrieve the photos that have disappeared from your camera, but you risk causing more damage and put the photos at a risk of becoming permanently deleted if you continue to use the memory card. Next, check the memory card for damage. This may be the cause of the photos getting lost. You can clean your memory card with a microfiber cloth – the type that is used to clean the lens of eye glasses. Try again to see if you can see the lost photos. If you can see them, copy the files to a safe place. Otherwise, keep reading on to see what else you can do.
Now try reading your memory card with a card reader that is connected to your computer. Since your camera has problems, you want to be able to identify if the problem is with the camera or with the memory card. If you use a memory card to read the photos, you have a higher chance of seeing the lost photos. However, if even with the card reader you cannot see the lost photos, use a photo recovery software like the Photo Retrieval 1.70. If you are running on a Mac, I recommend Disk Doctors for Mac.
Next, when you have gotten a copy of the photo recovery software, have it scan your memory card. The process is really easy, and you will not have a hard time following the steps. Both softwares mentioned above have been tested and worked with the Canon Rebel digital camera. You will likely be able to recover your photos with the software. When you do, make sure that you put It in a safe place, and keep backups of them as well.
