Help! I can’t view photos from my Canon PowerShot SD630 Digital Elph! I have a PC, and regular Windows…?
It says I need to format it…or something…I did so and it said It would erase everything on the camera…so I accepted because I could just take the photos over again…And then a window popped up saying It was not able to complete the process or something or other…I have e-mail so go ahead and ask questions if you have to….
If you format the memory card in a card reader on your computer, it will not be recognized in your camera. So you have to reformat it in your camera instead of your ‘puter. That is if it’s a memory card issue. If not then you have an issue with the cameras firmware which is your camera software. I doubt it could be this , but it is possible-nothing you can do to remedy this situation if your having USB transfer problems. Several possibilities, try using another computer to see if it is doing the same thing.
