Canon EOS 60D : Great Upgrade From Rebel XT
I mainly upgraded for the Canon EOS 60D for the ergonomics and found over the last few months that the flip out screen is actually great when put away as a way to protect the screen. if the screen is out of sight this could help you learn (like this did me) to take confidently in manual style without reviewing photos quickly after capture. It has also helped me become extremely efficient at adjusting shutter, iso, and aperture settings for the fly under changing lighting effects conditions in manual style.
I have large hands, this Canon 60D is more comfortable than any Rebel. the fps is good, but i’m not just a machine gun shooter, therefore whatever.
“L” lenses feel better plus much more balanced than with the particular Rebel line. I also think picture quality is slightly as good as the t2i, just my opinion.
Canon doesn’t market this to be weather sealed, but and also exist. Not as much being a 1D camera or the 7D, but seals complete exist..just google your diagram. I have used that in heavy rain with full confidence, no issues so much.
battery lasts FOREVER. I can go over a 3 day trip and never have to dig through my suitcase for any charger, even after thousands of shots. I also love the ability save mode which doesn’t require you physically turn the photographic camera off, EVER. The power switch can be set to the “on” position.
Build quality is great, I don’t really know why individuals are fussing about it being crafted from polycarbonate. This is the identical material Magpul magazines are created from. Its less when compared with 1k, what do anyone expect? I consider it some sort of steal for what you get free from this camera. Its more or less a 7D without the fps and a few gucci features.
parallel the Canon EOS 60D, i’m still saving up to the 5Dmk3 whenever it equates. The 60D will and then become my backup.
