Canon EOS 20D noise by today’s standards?
I have found a Canon EOS 20D body used for a decent price, and the only thing keeping me from buying it is that the noise might be pretty bad, seeing as how it’s an older camera.
So my question is, how bad will the noise be compared to an entry-level DLSR today?
(I wouldn’t know, I shoot film, and am just getting into digital)
At this time in your level of photography, the 20D is an excellent “learner” camera. Later in three or four years, after you at the point where you are shooting intuitively rather than having to think each time before you take your shot.
Any little noise you may encounter, can be adjusted using a program like Noise Ninja.
