Canon 1000D DSLR Camera for bigginer?
I’m going to purchase this kit as my 1st DSLR. So tell me the Pros & cons about this Also tell me how much time magnify ( optical zoom in Digital cameras) with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lance.
And need very very cheap lenses which matching with these camera.

First the 1000D and D3000 are excellent cameras for beginners
Second there is no need to be concerned with optical zoom ranges.
* you can buy any lens you need
* optical zoom ranges are only applicable to P&S cameras
Third if you truly are planning on buying cheap lenses, forget buying ANY dSLR. Cheap lenses defeat the purpose of dSLR’s: High quality images. Stick to fancy P&S cameras
