Which is the best digital camera SONY DSC-W50 or Canon PowerShot A95?
Where are you coming up with these old Canon cameras? The A95 was replaced by the A620, which has been replaced by the A630.
If you really have an A95 for purchase, it’s a good camera with a larger sensor than the Sony. My son had one for a couple of years before he got his A620, which is an excellent camera.
I’d suggest that, if you are looking to buy a new camera, the comparison will come down to the Sony DSC-W50 and the Canon Powershot A630. In that case, I’d choose the Canon for the bigger sensor, more zoom, more user control and “AA” batteries.

A more direct dollar and spec comparison would be the Canon Powershot A540, which still has more zoom and more user control and “AA” batteries. The Sony is a closer match for this camera, though, and I’d say it comes down to how the camera looks and feel to you. They seem to review about the same.
