Would you buy a Ipod touch 4th generation or a Canon Digital SLR Camera?
Hey, I’m split on getting a ipod touch 4th generation 16gb or a Canon Eos 500D Digital SLR with EF-S 18-55mm IS Lens Kit as a christmas and birthday joint present as both are quite pricey…
But I’m not sure which to get, please don’t say it’s my decision, get whatever I want, I kno, I kno, but tht’s the thing, I like both, and don’t know which one to get
Both of my sister’s said get the camera as I would like to have a career with photography and all I’m going to basicalli do with an ipod touch is put music on it (which isn’t true, I would put applications and games and stuff on it)
My uncles and brother think I should get the ipod touch, saying I’m too young to go into photography right now and might change my mind about the career choice… I’m going to be 15 on Christmas eve…
So which one would YOU prefer if you had to make this choice??

I think you should get the camera. It sounds like your really interested in photography, and even if you don’t choose it as a career, it can be a relaxing hobby.
If you get the iPod touch, chances are, you’ll use apps and games for a month or two and then just end up using it for music and videos. If you already have a mp3, you can just continue using that and then you’ll have a mp3 and a nice camera. If you don’t already have an mp3, I suggest still getting the camera and then buying a cheap mp3 with birthday/Christmas money that you get from others.
