HELP!!! I accidentally pushed FORMAT on my Digital Camera.?
Please….someone has to help me. I accidentally pushed FORMAT on my digital camera and all of my images were deleted. Is there anyway that I can recover these photos. I have some photos of a friend who just passed and I want to recover them.
I have a Canon Powershot A60 camera and I use a 256 MB Compact Flash memory card.
Please….someone help me.
I have tried to upload my camera to my compaq presario computer with the USB connection and still nothing happens.
I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL to anyone who can help.

It may or may not be possible. The only option left for you at this point is to try some recovery software. I used the software linked below for doing exactly what you are trying to do and it worked perfectly. However, if you have formatted AND taken new pictures, it will not work. If you have formatted and done nothing else to the card since then, this will likely work.

I disagree with Elvis. I used this software to recover pictures from a formatted card. Even the product description of this software states that it will work on a formatted card:
“Whether files were deleted, the media was corrupted or formatted, RescuePRO™ can help.” Also note, the card does NOT need to be a Sandisk card for the software to work. I strongly suggest you try this is you really do want those pictures.
