Digital Camera Problem, help please!?
Ive got a Canon Powershot A300. It was working fine but then i stopped using it and left it in my drawer. well the problem is is that now when I try and use it to try and take a pic the screen is all black and staticy, and when i take a shot it looks the same. what should i do to try and fix the camera?
It appears that the micro processors have been effected by dust and/or moisture, we are always hearing about protecting electronics from moisture and dust, well this is the product of that. The best thing is to have it cleaned by a specialist, or if you want to take the risk, do it your self. Try a prefuse blow into the small seams on the side to try and clear any particles. Your best bet after that is a new camera. Good Luck.
