is an 8 megapixel canon rebel xt high quality?
i’m new at photography and my friend has a canon rebel xt that takes fantastic pictures (i’m not sure of the megapixels) my sister has a plain old digital camera that is 12 megapixels, but they’re not professional looking.
There is more to photography than a simple megapixel number.
One very important aspect of digital sensors is pixel and sensor size.
DSLRs have a much larger sensor and consequently larger pixels. These gather more light to produce better colors with less electronic noise.
