With a host of brand new functions designed to improve each facet of the photographic process, from still images to video, the new EOS 7D represents a whole new class of camera. Made to be the tool of selection for severe photographers and semi-professionals, the EOS 7D attributes an all-new 18.0-megapixel APS-C size CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 image processors, capturing tremendous images at as much as ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8 fps. The EOS 7D has a brand new all cross-type 19-point AF method with improved AI Servo AF topic tracking and user-selectable AF area selection modes for sharp focus regardless of the situation. The Canon EOS 7D 18 MP Intelligent Viewfinder, an entirely newly designed technologies, delivers 100% coverage and displays user-selected AF modes also as a spot metering circle and on demand grid lines.
New iFCL Metering with 63-zone dual-layer metering method makes use of each focus and color data to offer accurate exposure even in tough lighting. The EOS 7D also captures Full HD video at 30p (29.97 fps), 24p (23.976 fps) and 25p with an array of manual controls, including manual exposure throughout movie shooting and ISO speed selection. The EOS 7D attributes a magnesium alloy body which is dust and weather resistant and shutter durability of as much as 150,000 cycles. Compatible with more than 60 EF and EF-S lenses also as with EOS Method accessories, the creative opportunities–not just with stills but also with video–are beyond amazement.

Customer Review
Superior image high quality. With the right quick memory card, the 7D Digital SLR camera shoots quite fast. You can cease action with this really nicely. Low light performance is great. Significantly of this depends upon the lens you use, obviously, but I would rate the camera really nicely for overall low light performance.
Very easy to use. The controls are in logical places, the screens and menus make sense, and the layout of the camera is great. It fits very, very well in my hands. I had the T1i previous towards the 7D, and it was just too little for me. The 7D is really a ideal fit. Enjoy that it’s weather sealed. I don’t wait for the rain to come and then go take images, but I’ve been in a position to use the 7D a few instances in light rain where that would not have been feasible without weather sealing.
3 inch LCD is very nice for viewing and reviewing your pictures appropriate right after you take them. You may zoom in quite a ways with the LCD to see how sharp your images are.
Build quality is sturdy.
Battery slips in and out with no trouble. The charger that comes with it is good. Plugs straight into the wall with out any cords. This camera is superb and extremely enjoyable. We take it everywhere and are in a position to preserve fun and valuable family moments. Really like it and confidently give it 5 stars. Canon hit a home run with this one.
