Installing Canon EOS Digitial Rebel on to new windows operating system?
I have a digital camera that I love (Canon 300D Digital Rebel) but I believe it’s from at least 2007 and when I try to install it onto the windows7 operating system it says it can’t find the software driver. Do I need to download something online to make this work? It’s weird because all the programs that came with the camera installed just fine. When I looked online for updates, none of the websites really made me feel sure I wouldn’t be downloading viruses and stuff lol. Any ideas? Thanks!
I also have a Canon Digital Rebel. It connects via USB, and when the camera is connected, and on, it will appear as another ‘drive’ in My Computer/Windows Explorer. I have never loaded any driver software for the camera. In fact, the only software that comes with the camera is proprietary image editing software. Sort of a cheap Photoshop.
Connect your camera, turn it on, and check to see if it appears in My Computer/Windows Explorer.
