Christmas present digital photo frame help please?
Hi im looking to buy one for a present for my Uncle. He doesn’t have a digital camera. (he may purchase one when he receives this present) Can you buy a digital photo frame and transfer your photos from a P.C to a pen drive then put the pen drive into the USB port in the frame so he can view the pictures? I don’t mind buying a memory stick and transferring family pictures from my P.C onto the pen drive so he can put it in his USB port. I just want to know do they work like this or do they only work via an SD card?

Digital Photo Frames are really good Christmas presents! Yes, it is possible to transfer pictures from your computer to a pen drive – and then put the pen drive in to the USB port of the digital photo frame. By doing that, the pictures you’ve transferred to your pen drive will be visible on the digital photo frame.
There are different types of digital photo frames. Some work only with a pen drive, some work only with an SD card – while our newer models work with both. When you’re choosing a model, think about it carefully before buying.
It does work like you think it does, and you get a memory card with the digital photo frames today anyways, so I don’t think you have to worry about whether you’re buying another card or not. I suggest you buy a digital photo frame with a memory card included. That will help you out a lot.
